Mirador finishes principal photography for 'The Fireside Kitchen' cooking show pilot

Mirador Studios travelled to North Carolina in early May to shooting a two-episode pilot for a cooking show titled, "The Fireside Kitchen". Jane Davidowski and Jason Hedges hosted the shows. The shows were filmed in HD and are currently in post-production at our Florida studio. Mirador Studios is planning on brokering a broadcast deal from a major cable network to produce the series later this year.

Mirador shoots for Speed ChannelPinks - All Out

Mirador Studios has been busy as usual. Riad Saidi and Alex Davidowski worked as camera crew for the Speed Channel and Pullin Television, shooting for their show, "Pinks - All Out" and "Pinks - All Outtakes" over the past weekend.

The Pullin Television and Pinks cast and crew are a great bunch of people to work with and everything went smoothly. The shows will air in a few months and hopefully include a lot of footage shot by Mirador Studios.

Mirador completes New Horizons HD commercial

Mirador Studios recently shot and edited a high-end HD commercial for New Horizons Computer Learning Center in Gainesville. They wanted a national look to their :60 spot, so the decision was made to shoot in HD with our film-lens package, giving the footage that cinematic quality that is prevalent in higher budget national commercials.

Shooting was done on-location at New Horizons and against a green screen. Thanks to the Hippodrome for renting us the space to shoot the green screen work.

Mirador in Charlotte, NC for New Horizons Infomercial

Mirador Studios recently returned from Charlotte, NC where we were shooting on location for a New Horizons Computer Learning Center infomercial. The 15 minute program is now in post production to be completed early march.

Additionally, we will be shooting a high-end HD commercial for New Horizons Gainesville, in the next few weeks. We will be using our spider dolly, steadi-cam unit, and film lens packages to achieve a national commercial look. We will post in HD, including motion titles and greenscreen work. With permission, we will post the commercial here after post-production has been completed, sometime in March.

Mirador Studios wins top ADDY award

Mirador Studios won gold at the Gainesville ADDY Awards on Friday night. Our "O!O Tapas & Tinis" :30 spot, won a gold ADDY and won BEST OF SHOW for Broadcast.

Producer/Director/Editor Alexander Davidowski and Cinematographer Riad Saidi are credited on the gold trophy. Wish us luck as the :30 spot goes on to regional competition.
